Dear visitors to the “ Samodelkin Friend ” website, we present to your attention drawings of the all-wheel drive all-terrain vehicle “Mopets” as well as step-by-step photos of the assembly of a homemade two-wheeled all-terrain vehicle. The Mopets was assembled in St. Petersburg by one of the local Kulibins, American samples of all-wheel drive all-wheel drive vehicles of the “Rokon” type were taken as a basis. A drawing was previously developed and drawn up (see below) and its own all-terrain vehicle was assembled on its basis.

The homemade frame is welded from a square section profile, a 6.5 l/s gasoline internal combustion engine from a walk-behind tractor, all-wheel drive on the front and rear wheels, torque transmission is carried out through a chain drive. Boat motor from a screwdriver

To increase speed, you can install a propeller with a larger pitch.

The basis of an all-terrain vehicle (or ATV) is a frame made of pipes or a square profile. The power plant is suitable from a walk-behind tractor (6.5-7.5 hp). The drive is often done on the rear wheel (sometimes on 2), it rotates using a chain drive.

The suspension is configured without shock absorbers, the wheels have a diameter of 20-25 inches.

The creation of an ATV based on the Ural consists of two stages: designing the rear part and the front. The use of the Ural gearbox when creating the rear part of the ATV will ensure the design not only strength, lightness, but also simplicity. In the end, the finished product will not be equipped with a differential, which, in essence, can be sacrificed in the name of reducing the time spent on its creation. As for the design of the front part of the future vehicle, it will take much more effort and time than the previous stage. Most of the work is finishing up the front arms of the ATV. This is due to the fact that they should be less rigid than a car, but more powerful than a motorcycle.

Homemade boat motor from a trimmer

A gas trimmer is a very successful tool for converting into a boat engine.

See for yourself - it has almost everything you need - an internal combustion engine, a rod with a shaft transmitting torsion and an angular gearbox. All that remains is to equip the trimmer with a suspension on the transom, change the throttle control handle and install the water propeller.

The petrol trimmer is equipped with a centrifugal clutch, so the screw will not rotate at low speeds.

You can also use the electric version of the trimmer for mowing grass, but there will be more alterations with it, there is a 220-volt electric motor and you will have to install a board for converting 12 volts from the battery to 220. Such a board can be taken from an old uninterruptible power supply from a computer.

If we are already talking about electric motors, then it is worth remembering screwdrivers - the engine on them is quite powerful, so it is quite suitable for use on a homemade boat.
