I decided to go with a boyish theme today. Yes, really... What kind of things are there? Probably, hahaha. For me, all this technology, especially military equipment, is not something, well, I would say difficult. My son himself and they constantly ask their mother to buy them cars.

Since February is approaching and exhibitions and craft competitions will soon begin again in kindergartens and schools on February 23, I remembered that perhaps someone would want to make a tank on their own. Or perhaps on the threshold of May 9, and there, too, the boys are starting to do just such “stuff.” But what can it be made from? I think that using improvised means you can build a bunch of such simple and uncomplicated works. Both preschoolers and schoolchildren can cope with them, and adults even more so.

In order for horse artillery to have the same mobility as cavalry, the lightest field guns were chosen and the number of rounds carried on the limber was reduced. During the campaign, the servants were removed from the limber and carriage, who had to ride on horseback next to the gun.

The idea of ​​​​creating horse artillery is sometimes attributed to Platon Zubov, who in 1794 submitted a petition to Catherine the Second to establish five horse artillery companies, which were formed by February 1796. In 1812, the Russian army had 1,620 field guns. 60 guns as part of the Life Guards Artillery Battalion and the Life Guards Horse Artillery Battalion. 648 battery, 648 light and 264 horse guns. The total number of people in the artillery units was 52,500.

In my gun, the bolt is made according to the principle of a hook, which at one end is attached to the end of the barrel with a screw, and at the other end it is attached to a ledge located on the opposite side. So far it's working fine.

To prevent your mother from scolding you and forcing you to clean the room after a salute, you can modernize the firecracker: carefully remove the safety paper and carefully pour the contents of the firecracker (confetti) into the trash basket. 10. Now about the gun carriage.

The carriage can be glued together from wooden blocks - it will be more believable and reliable, for this we will need a saw. But this is a troublesome matter. Let's look for something to replace the tree with.

Let's take packaging corrugated cardboard. It’s better if you get a two-layer one. In accordance with the dimensions of the trunk, we will approximately mark the sheets of cardboard and glue them together. It is advisable to select cardboard so that the direction of the corrugation does not coincide: this will increase the strength of our carriage. When the workpiece reaches a thickness of 4–5 cm, we make the final cutting of the carriage parts and glue it together. As a source of spark, a cheap piezo lighter for kitchen stoves was selected. There are two wires coming from the piezoelectric element, one is screwed to the screw, the second is at a distance of 5mm from it. We screw the lighter itself to the gun body with tape, leaving the spark button free.

1. The mortar gun is simpler to manufacture than the Apple Gun. Only three components are required, which are purchased at a hardware store in the “plumbing” department. Revision 100 mm, plug 100 mm and pipe 100 mm 1 meter long. Silicone putty was used to seal the connection. To rigidly connect the parts to each other, 25 mm self-tapping screws with a round head are used. A kitchen lighter was used as a means of igniting the gas mixture. The required tools are a screwdriver and a 1.5 mm drill. For better strength of the entire structure, master recommends buying brown components (the cost will double). When purchasing parts, check that all three rubber seals are present and that the pipe is in the correct shape.

2. Apply a layer of silicone to the revision immediately behind the rubber seal and insert the plug tightly until it stops.

3. We apply a layer of silicone with our own hands to the pipe connection immediately behind the rubber seal and insert it into the revision all the way - see photo. Open the inspection lid and let the silicone harden for 24 hours. Dry in a ventilated area!

4. Use a thin 1.5 mm drill to drill holes for the self-tapping screws. Holes are drilled to prevent cracks in the plastic. To attach the cover, drill 8 holes. 4 holes are drilled in the pipe at the attachment point and 4 holes for the stops. Using the same drill, we make two holes for the passage of high-voltage wires. 5. Carefully screw in the screws, do not apply much force at the end of screwing, so as not to turn the screw. Self-tapping screws for charge limiters must be in the same plane!

6. An electric kitchen lighter was used to create a spark. The lighter can be piezo or electric. Operating experience has shown that piezo lighters are the most reliable. The method for extending the lighter wires is described in detail in the manufacturing procedure for the Apple Gun. Extension wires are inserted into the combustion chamber, the distance between the bare ends of the wires is 4-5 mm. The passage of the wires is sealed with hot-melt adhesive. Check for spark immediately.

7. For safety in case of structural failure, the plug and seams are wrapped with reinforced tape. The zipper is also secured to the body of the gun with tape.

8. We carry out tests away from people and buildings. Determine a safe place for the projectile to fall. Do not try to place a large projectile! Since the gas pressure in the barrel is much less than in a 50mm caliber gun. The weight of the projectile should be light. If you shoved a cabbage or a bag of dung into the barrel... well, you will have serious problems, either in the form of a torn gun, or with a charge falling next to the barrel. An EMPTY two-liter plastic bottle fits tightly into the experiment barrel. The sequence of actions is standard - a short spray of deodorant with gas inside, screwing the cap all the way, pointing the barrel and side cap in a safe direction, spark, shot. Carry out the next shot only after the barrel has been ventilated. After several shots there will be misfires. There will be a spark, but no shot. The most radical way to eliminate it is to rinse the cavity with detergent and dry it.
