I used a 20 liter gasoline can as the basis for my DIY mini bar project. You can easily find one at your local store.

Scoop
Small canisters make a handy scoop. It is convenient for them to apply fertilizers under plant bushes. Making a scoop is very simple. On a 1.5-2 liter canister, mark the future product from the handle side. It will serve as the handle of the scoop. From there, the desired shape is marked along the contour of the sidewall. It can be triangular or square. Using a stationery knife, cut along the marked lines.
Stainless steel
Metal canister 10 l REXXON
REXXON canister is a metal canister of a German brand, manufactured in Latvia. The canister is designed for storing and transporting gasoline, diesel fuel and other fuels and lubricants. Made from stainless steel 0.8 mm thick, painted green on top. It is highly resistant to mechanical damage, atmospheric conditions and aggressive chemicals.
For a long time it retains its presentable appearance and performance characteristics. The canister has a rectangular shape and a small height, which makes it stable. It is almost impossible to accidentally turn it over. The side walls are reinforced with stiffening ribs, the handle is located on top, and is comfortable and wide. The lid is equipped with a lock.
Canister dimensions: length - 350 mm, width - 165 mm, height - 283 mm, weight 2.8 kg, volume 10 l. Green color.
Stainless steel canister 10 l SOROKIN
The canister is designed for storing fuel mixtures and various liquids. Made in China under the trademark of the Russian company Sorokin. The canister is made of stainless steel sheet 0.8 mm thick and has increased strength. The canister is not subject to corrosion and therefore will retain its performance characteristics for a long time.
The canister has a horizontal rectangular shape, volume 10 liters. The neck is located in the center of the canister and has an overpressure valve built into it. The neck is equipped with a screw-on flexible plastic drain hose. A metal cap with a thread seals the neck tightly. Triple handle for easy carrying by two people.
Dimensions of the canister in the package: length - 360 mm, width - 225 mm, height - 205 mm, weight 2.9 kg, volume 10 l. Silver color.
The final touch is fixing the shelves inside
I secure the shelf structure inside the canister using hot glue. To give the minibar a finished look, I installed a mirror on the inside of the door and also secured it with hot glue.

Hanging planter
The canister in the country is used to decorate the area. Hanging flowerpots are made from it. A medium-sized container allows you to plant beautiful plants in it. For beauty, plastic is painted in bright colors or decorated in any way.
A container with a volume of up to 3 liters is ideal for a hanging structure. There are several manufacturing options:
- cut off the top, leaving the bottom for planting flowers;
- cut out one of the side parts and plant the plants in the entire container.
Hang the pots on ropes or screw them to a wooden fence with self-tapping screws. Make several holes in the bottom of the structure to drain excess moisture. Fill the soil and plant the plants.
Shower for the cottage
The procedure for creating such a design includes the following steps:
- Creating a pen . To do this, you can use a simple rope, passing it through the handle of the container and tying it around a tree or other structure where the shower will be attached.
- Installation of the nozzle . You should make many small holes in the lid, blow them out, then insert it into the container tap. The joint should be sealed to prevent moisture from leaking.
- Creating a shut-off valve that regulates water pressure. This product can be found in the plumbing department. Rubber seals will be required for installation.
- Arranging a lid where water will be poured. It is better to make it closed so that dirt, leaves and insects do not get into the canister.
- The side parts are covered with black electrical tape so that the water inside warms up faster: black walls absorb ultraviolet radiation better.
Aluminum
Aluminum canister 10 l Demidovsky Plant
The canister is made of aluminum in Russia at the Demidov plant, located in the Sverdlovsk region. The canister is vertical, with a volume of 10 liters, has a classic rectangular shape, with stiffening ribs on the side walls to increase resistance to increased internal pressure and mechanical loads. The canister is durable due to the corrosion resistance of aluminum. The neck is wide, offset from the center to the side, the siphon tube is not included.

Aluminum canister 20 l Airline
The Airline-ACF-20A canister is designed for storing and transporting gasoline and other fuels and technical oils. A canister of the Russian brand Airline, made in China or Taiwan. The canister has a vertical rectangular shape, volume 20 liters. During transportation, it will require additional fastening so that the canister does not tip over. Made of aluminum 0.6 mm thick. Aluminum ensures the durability of the canister, giving it anti-corrosion resistance. The neck of the canister is elongated, offset from the center, the lid is plastic and screws on. One handle, wide, ergonomic.

Box
The canister is a universal item. It makes useful and functional things. A box is made from it for tools. Any size container will do. To make a tool storage box, you will need to completely cut out one of the walls of the canister. You can put partitions inside, dividing them into sections. If you make a large number of such boxes, then absolutely all small tools, nails, etc. will fit in them.
Outdoor washbasin
It’s not at all difficult to make a camping version of a washbasin from a 5-liter canister. For manufacturing you will need: 2 rubber seals, a tap and a fastening nut. To fill the canister, use the filler hole; it is convenient to insert a funnel into it.
Closer to the bottom, cut a hole for the tap in one of the walls of the canister. It is more convenient to use a regular adjustable one. After installing the entire system, hang the washbasin in a convenient place. This could be a crossbar, a tree trunk, etc. Secure the structure with tape or belt.
