  3. At this stage, you will need a rod of such length that it extends 1.7-1.9 cm beyond the drill. Its end is ground off with a rasp so that it ultimately matches perfectly with the socket in the nozzle. Before joining, you need to use machine oil or any other lubricant.
  4. A ball bearing is installed at the outlet location, and a rod is threaded through it and fixed in the base. Sometimes this step is not required, so the rod can simply be locked in place.

This method can be implemented in a matter of hours, and dismantling and installing the cartridge in minutes. Once the structure has been assembled once, it will no longer need to be changed or supplemented in the future. It is worth remembering that in this case no protection is installed, so there should be no people on the sides when working. You will not be able to injure yourself due to the fact that the disk rotates parallel to the master.

Making a mini grinder

The most important part is to place the bearing on a slightly processed (using a drill and file) mat stand. computer board and press in the cable.

We disassemble the alligator clip and use a homemade clamp to attach the bearing to it. We secure a piece of the speedometer cable with plastic clamps.

We place the electric motor itself, together with the relay, in a can of sealant cut to size (we fill the voids with pieces of rubber). Additionally, we secure it with a bolt that rests against the motor housing to prevent it from turning.

The cutting disc is also homemade. We make a protective casing for it from plastic.

The electrical circuit is simple: pressing the mini-button turns on the relay, which in turn closes the power contacts and supplies voltage to the electric motor.

After assembly, we get a new design with an unusual motor location. When working, we hold the tool in the same way as a regular grinder, only now it has become more mobile.

The simplest device for an angle grinder stand

Actually, this device cannot be called a stand, but the work with it can be done almost the same as that provided by the most technologically advanced stand. The principle of its operation is clear from the short video:

But if instead of a strip you use a corresponding corner with a sawn-off part of one of the shelves, as one of the authors of a similar design did, then there will be no need to drill a blind hole in the head of the angle grinder.

In this case, the tool will be fastened with two screws into the threaded holes for the handle existing on the head of the angle grinder. But the principle of operation of the sole will not change - only its rigidity will increase.

To make this homemade product we will need:

  • metal plate;
  • furniture hinge;
  • strip of metal;
  • bolts with nuts.

We cut the metal plate to the required size and drill holes for the legs in the corners. We make markings and drill three more holes to secure the furniture hinge.

A strip of metal will need to be attached to the second part of the loop. We cut off the edges of the loop with a grinder - leaving only the central part.

It is necessary to drill two mounting holes in a strip of metal, and then cut threads into them using a tap. We screw the angle grinder to the strip.

Bolts are used as the legs of the cutting machine. We screw them into the drilled holes and secure them with nuts. You can additionally glue pieces of rubber to the bolt heads.

A support for workpieces can be made from a piece of corner. But in this case the author uses two bolts.

Construction of cutting machines
