Now we will tell you how to correctly draw a non-existent 3D triangle. This is also quite easy to do.
Prepare accessories:
- several pencils of different hardness from hard to very soft
- sheet of thick paper for drawing
- ruler
- eraser
Step 1
- Draw an equilateral triangle. If you can’t make an equilateral one, stop at the isosceles one.
Step 2
- Inside this triangle we draw three lines parallel to its sides. The distance between parallel lines should be 0.5 cm, no more. We have a large triangle and a small triangle inside a large one.
Step 3
- Inside the small triangle we need to make an even smaller triangle. To do this, turn to Step 3.
Step 4
- When we first drew the inner triangle (now we have the middle one), some of our lines intersected at the corners of the large triangle. Now these lines need to be connected to each other as shown in the photo.
Step 5
- We outline everything exactly as shown in the photo. We do not outline only the corners of the large triangle and some lines of internal constructions.
Step 6
- We take an eraser and erase all the lines we don’t need. The drawing looks laconic and very neat.
Step 7
- Using a soft pencil, draw shadows in the three corners between the small and medium triangle, as shown in the figure.
- The darkest places are at the intersection of lines. The farther from them, the weaker the pressure on the pencil should be.
- Remove all excess streaks and pencil stains.
- The drawing “Non-existent triangle” is ready!

DIY 3D drawings - optical illusion for beginners with explanations
The ability to draw optical illusions is interesting, useful and exciting. But the ability to draw 3D drawings opens up new boundaries of what is possible for you! Read on to learn how to turn a two-dimensional drawing into a three-dimensional one!
One of the simplest 3D drawings is a staircase. This is what we will learn to draw.
We will need:
- thick paper
- pencil
- eraser.
- Fold the paper in half on the short side.
- We draw one stripe from the center to the edge, then on the other side we draw a stripe symmetrical to it.
- We repeat below.
Step 1
- On one of the stairs we begin to draw horizontal steps.
Step 2
- We finish with one ladder and move on to another.
- We draw the same number of steps as on the first staircase.
- Do not forget that both stairs are located completely symmetrically relative to each other.
Step 3
- Take a ruler and, as shown in the picture, draw a shadow under the stairs. Without this shadow, the drawing will lose volume and realism.
Step 4
- We fold the drawing along the fold line that we made in Step 1. We have an excellent 3D staircase, congratulations!
Step 5
What you will need
You need to learn certain techniques for performing tricks, and then train hard, honing your skills. You will need basic knowledge, skills and personal qualities that will allow you to deftly deceive the crowd.
- Properly divert the audience's attention from hands and props in order to perform a substitution.
- Understand the psychological characteristics of the public in order to competently manipulate the audience.
- Manual dexterity and finger flexibility to quickly perform false pick-ups, flourishes, reversals, and perform colorful shuffles.
- Be persistent in learning and don’t give up if something doesn’t work out. At the beginning of the journey there will be many mistakes until you learn dexterity.
- Buy beautiful props to make your tricks look more spectacular and impressive.
- Constantly improve and learn new tricks: read literature on the topic, watch video lessons on YouTube, take courses and train.
Buy props to expand your capabilities.
In addition, for each trick you will need to purchase props. In some cases, you can use household items (coins, glasses, scarf). But there are tricks where you have to buy special equipment - a hat with a double bottom, special decks of cards, a false finger, etc. All this can be purchased in specialized stores or ordered on aliexpress.

Next, we present to your attention a 3D drawing of a butterfly, made on lined graph paper with colored pencils. If you do not have such paper, then you can make it yourself by drawing squares measuring 1x1 cm on a regular sheet.
- Prepare your paper.
Step 1
- Outline the contours of the butterfly's body and wings. Use the example below, or come up with your own model.
Step 2
- Create a pattern inside the butterfly's wings. It can be absolutely anything.
Step 3
- Complete the pattern with additional elements.
- You can skip this step.
Step 4
- Take colored pencils, in our case red, yellow, black and brown, and add color to your work.
Step 5
- We made the pattern colored, and now we will need a black pencil to color everything inside the butterfly wings, except for the pattern.
Step 6
- Make the shading denser so that there are no gaps. But don't overdo it.
Step 7
- Using the smallest amount of pressure on the black pencil, outline the shadow under the butterfly.
Step 8
- Make the shadow darker. The darkest place is exactly under the butterfly. The shadow becomes lighter towards the edges.
Step 9
Step 10
- Cut out the butterfly as shown in the picture.
Step 11
- As a result, you will end up with a drawing like this! The work is ready!

How to learn magic tricks at home
There are many easy tricks you can start learning with. They look impressive enough that you will surprise your first audience.
You can learn any trick using the following template:
- Look at the trick through the eyes of the viewer. This will make it easier for you to perform the trick correctly, to focus on the right things, and you will understand the audience’s thinking.
- Find out how to do the same. Find out the secret of the trick: what props will be needed, in what sequence to perform the actions, what should remain invisible to the viewer.
- Slowly repeat the magician's actions to perform this trick yourself. Let it come out with mistakes the first time, slowly, and all your manipulations will be obvious. The main thing is to go from beginning to end in order to understand the technique.
- Rehearse, hone your skills so that all actions are carried out smoothly and unnoticeably.
- Record yourself on video to see the performance from the outside. Include elements of communication with the audience as if they were sitting in front of you. This way you can rehearse the entire scene.
Review your rehearsals to notice any inconsistencies and weaknesses. Improve yourself.
Don’t delete your entries—look back in a month and see how much you’ve already grown.
You can post your recordings on YouTube - this way you can always see how your skill is developing and begin to grow your audience. It's always nice when someone supports your endeavor.
Match trick
A fairly simple trick that requires only two matches and sleight of hand.
Take a match in both hands - place it between your thumb and index finger. Turn the matches perpendicular to each other, lead one through the other.
In the upper hand, one tip should be held between the middle and index fingers, but just don’t focus on this. When the matches are about to collide, you need to make a small gap between the tip of the match and the pad of your thumb to allow the bottom match to pass through. Then immediately press it back.
If you perform the movements quickly and sharply, it will seem that one match has passed through another. It is very important to choose the right angle for the audience.
Trick with removing a shirt through a jacket
You will need an assistant in the audience. Before a performance, he must put on a shirt under his jacket in a special way: throw it over his shoulders, do not put his hands in the sleeves, but only fasten the cuffs on his wrists. When the jacket is on top, this will not be visible - only the cuffs and collar stick out.
After this, select a “random” assistant from the audience and place him on a chair. Unbutton the collar and wrists. And then pull the collar to pull the shirt up.
Fruit transformation trick
It’s easiest to perform just such tricks for beginners - you don’t need any special manual dexterity, you just need to practice the movements a little.
You will need a small apple, an orange slightly larger in diameter than an apple. And a beautiful scarf, under the cover of which all the magic will happen.
Before doing this, you need to prepare - carefully remove the skin from the orange. It should not be noticeable from the outside that it has been opened. Then place the apple inside.
During your speech, show the audience an orange. Cover it with a scarf and cast a spell. At this time, squeeze the apple out of the peel, hiding it inside the scarf in your other hand. All that remains is to show the apple to the surprised public.
Trick with a scarf going through the neck
Another easy trick you can learn. You will need a regular scarf, which is tied in a special way:
- Drape the scarf over the back of your neck so that the ends hang down in front of your chest.
- Grasp the right tip with your left hand, and the left tip with your right.
- Take the right part and fold it over the left one to form a loop.
- Keep your finger inside the loop and lift the left side of the scarf up behind your neck. You need to place the resulting loop on the back of the neck so that it is not visible.
- Pull the left end of the scarf so that the fabric easily slides off your neck and “passes” through it.
To perform it, fast and confident movements are important so that the human eye does not notice your manipulations.
The video below clearly shows how to do this trick.
Phone in a bottle trick
Take a regular plastic bottle with a narrow neck that can fit your phone. You can let the audience watch it, touch it, check for honesty. After all, the secret lies not in her.
You will need to buy a special prop - a fingertip with a small blade on the tip.
During the performance, after demonstrating the bottle, cover it with a cap and place it under the curtain. Make a cut without the audience noticing. It is most convenient to do it along the back wall. Push the phone inside, and then rip off the cover.
A novice illusionist may not be able to cope with this task. If only because it’s difficult to get props. But for home performances, you can use a pre-prepared bottle that does not need to be given to the audience.
Coin and glass trick
You will need any glass (plastic or glass) and a fairly large coin (5 rubles will do).
Hold the coin in one hand and show it to the audience. Then pretend to take it in your other hand and squeeze it into a fist. Although in fact it needs to be held in the palm of your first hand. Experienced magicians know how to hold it with an open palm, but beginners can prop it up with their little finger.
It should lie unnoticeably in the palm of your hand while it is actively moving!
Now take the glass in your hand with the coin so that your palm is on top of its neck. Hit your fist several times with the bottom where the coin is supposedly hiding, and then relax your hand and let it fall inside.
Open your fist, demonstrating that there is nothing in your hands, and show the money in the glass.
You need to move quickly and deftly so that your manipulations are not noticeable. And make sure that the coin does not fall out of your palm ahead of time.
