The method of assembling the bud is significantly different: instead of a single ribbon, parts for the inflorescence are prepared. The lower edges of the petals are sewn together with a thin thread, and the upper edges are glued together after attaching the candy.
Rose buds made of corrugated paper with sweets
In the photo the paper chosen is pink in color. The end result is a cool box of candy decorated with homemade roses. Each bud will contain a chocolate candy.
Materials:
- box of candies;
- 5 chocolates separately;
- corrugated paper pink and green;
- satin ribbons;
- wooden skewers (5 pcs. - according to the number of candies);
- hot glue.
From pink paper, cut out rectangles 8 cm wide and 5 cm high. Fold in half. Cut off the corners from the top, not on the fold side. This will create a rounded top shape. Use your fingers to straighten the petal in the middle. Gently stretch the middle out to the sides. You will need two similar petals for one flower.
Cut out 8x3 cm rectangles from green paper. Fold them like an accordion. Cut corners on top. When you unfold the workpiece, you will get “grass”.
Place candy on wooden skewers. Do not unwrap the candy from the candy wrapper before doing this.
Wrap a pink petal around the candy. Lubricate the lower edges of the petal with glue. Press the petal onto the skewer. Secure the second petal with glue starting from the middle of the first.
Glue green “grass” onto the pink petals at the bottom of the bud. Cut a thin strip of green paper about 1-1.5 cm wide. Glue the edges of the strip under the bud. Wrap the skewer in stripes. Glue it on the bottom.
