DIY candy tank. Master class with step-by-step photos

Creation Toolkit

To assemble candy tanks, the step-by-step description of which is given in the article, you will need the following tools and materials:

  • 2 boxes (larger and smaller).
  • Double sided tape.
  • A napkin made of large straws.
  • Wrapping paper, better than “military” protective tones.
  • Foam sheet.
  • Sharp knife.
  • Tissue paper - green and brown.
  • Chocolate medals for wheels.
  • Sweets: bars, small chocolates.
  • Corrugated cardboard.
  • Scotch.
  • Glue (preferably odorless) or hot melt glue.
  • Bottle of alcohol.
  • Decorative cord, stars, ribbon.

Creating a tree

It is made of thick wire, which is folded into several layers. On top it is wrapped in threads; you can take ordinary woolen ones.

We make flowers from corrugated paper into which candies or chocolate medals are placed. We cut out the petals from this paper and wrap them around a pencil to create a curved shape. Pin three petals to a toothpick to create a rose. Several of these roses are attached to the trunk of a tree.

To make your money tree most impressive, it is recommended to wrap it with golden ribbons and cut leaves from foil to decorate it. To improve the energy of a tree, it is recommended to tie a red ribbon to it.

Gifts made from candy can be very different; it is important to show imagination when creating them. If you create your gift using candy canes, it will last longer and you will be able to admire it longer. Chocolate gifts should be consumed almost immediately after they are given to prevent them from spoiling.

For the work you will need the following
materials:
1) one large and one small box 2) double-sided tape 3) packaging or other green or khaki paper 4) flat and thin foam 5) a sharp knife (stationery) 6) corrugated paper.8) brown paper 7) chocolate medals - 11-13 pcs corrugated cardboard 9) tape 10) glue 11) optional - a large durable box for a stand and green wrapping paper.
1)
Take 2 strong boxes. From a large box we will make the base of a tank, and from a small box we will make a tower.

It is better to choose boxes from thick cardboard, since they will contain almost a kilogram of sweets, and thin cardboard may simply not support them and bend under the weight.

The large box should open. Open its side edges and use tape to secure them so that they take the shape of a triangle.

2)

Cover all edges of the boxes with double-sided tape and carefully wrap them in wrapping paper.

The basis for the future sweet gift for February 23 is ready.

3)

Now we make the caterpillars. To do this, take a flat sheet of polystyrene foam and cut out two blanks for tracks from it, matching in size to the side edges of the large box. Wrap them carefully in brown corrugated paper. paper.

4)

Glue the chocolate medals using double-sided tape or hot glue to our future blanks.

Snickers lover

On the holiday of Defender of the Fatherland, it is imperative to congratulate and give gifts to every man. A harsh tank made of Snickers candies is a very masculine gift! It is made using the technology presented above, only the boxes will need much larger and stronger ones. You can stuff them with something from the inside, such as crumpled up newspaper. And to make a really strong tank, cut out blanks for it from foam plastic. Cut a small recess in the top blank and glue the barrel - a strip of cardboard rolled into a narrow tube. Now very carefully cover the entire structure with khaki wrapping paper.

Next, let's assemble the chocolate armor. We take small Snickers chocolates (you can have others that your man likes) and glue them onto the blank. Caterpillars can also be made from candies in the form of narrow sticks. Let's glue on the wheels (medals) - and that's it, we've prepared a do-it-yourself candy tank for our favorite defender!

Master class, tank base

To make such a gift, you will need to take two cardboard boxes, tape, special paper for packaging, twelve pieces of chocolate medals, glue, green and brown corrugated paper.

The large cardboard box will be the base for your tank, and the small box will be the tower. If you are making a candy tank, wrap the boxes with tape and then wrap them in tissue paper.

Your tank will need tracks. To do this, you need to cut two long strips from foam plastic, which are the same size as the edges of the box. These strips are wrapped in corrugated paper and chocolate medals are glued on top. You can also glue small chocolates, then your craft - a candy tank - will look even better. Now the tracks are glued to the box. For strength, you can attach them with fishing line or sewing threads, or you can also use knitting yarn.

A DIY candy tank is a good candy gift idea. It’s not difficult to make it yourself.

We assemble a simple tank from candies with our own hands in a step-by-step MK

For this work you will need:

  • Small and tasty chocolates of various shapes - square, round and rectangular;
  • A little corrugated cardboard and regular thin cardboard;
  • Golden corrugated paper (or any color you like);
  • Ordinary wooden skewers;
  • Straw napkin;
  • Scissors;
  • Glue;
  • Double-sided tape;
  • Decorative cord, stars from shoulder straps and ribbon.

Now we will tell you the step-by-step moments of creating a sweet gift.

Detailed instructions:

  • Initially, we will cut out special blanks for the future tank from cardboard: we make the base for the hull from corrugated cardboard, and the turret parts (circle and strip) from thin ordinary cardboard. We will determine the dimensions of these parts relative to the dimensions of the chocolate that we prepared.
  • We glue the round tower together, and bend the corrugated cardboard base along the edges, front and back.
  • Our cannon cannon for a candy tank can be made from ordinary wooden skewers. We take 5-6 pieces of skewers, fold them and wrap them along the entire length with a strip of golden corrugated paper. We will twist several paper strips on top of each other onto the tip of the cannon, so we will make the edge thicker.
  • Next, we cover the cardboard blanks with gold corrugated paper. The upper part of the tower can additionally be decorated along the contour with a cord.
  • It is necessary to make a hole in the tank turret for the cannon.

  • Using double-sided tape (you can use hot glue), we attach the candies to the base of the tank and the turret, according to the layout we have previously thought out.
  • Let's decorate our blanks with ribbon.

When these two parts are ready, you can glue them together.

The tank, as we know, has a caterpillar drive, so we need to make tracks. They can be made using a napkin made from straw; we cut two strips of the width we need from it. If you don’t have such a napkin, then the caterpillars for the candy tank we are creating can be made from three-layer corrugated cardboard, but you need to separate one layer.

For the base of the chassis, on which the tracks and the entire tank made of candies will be attached, there will be two elongated ovals cut from polystyrene foam. Next we cover them with dark colored corrugated paper.

And the wheels of the tank, or, as tankers also correctly call them, rollers, will make round chocolate coins, four pieces for each side.

Let's glue the made tracks and coins - wheels to the base of the chassis. And then we will glue all the parts of our chocolate tank made of candies to each other.

You can place a hatch on top of the tower, which we will make from a chocolate coin. As an additional decoration, you can use stars from shoulder straps by gluing them onto the armor of our creation.

Sweet ideas for boys

The fact that the candy is a tasty surprise is understandable. Here are a few ideas that will please not only the stomach, but also the eyes.

Poster

This gift is especially popular among teenagers. In fact, this is a gift, a postcard, and a wall newspaper at the same time. In order to create it you will need:

  • Whatman;
  • Glue;
  • Colored markers;
  • Various confectionery products.

It is better to create a poster on a large table or on the floor. Think over a sketch of the work in advance. Imagine what it will look like on a poster. Write the text first on a draft so as not to make mistakes later.

On whatman paper you write your congratulations and wishes, replacing some words with glued edible elements. Handwriting does not have to be calligraphic. It will be even more fun if it is similar to the Comic Sans font. One condition is that the letters must be large so that they can be seen at a distance of at least 2 meters.

And one more piece of advice from experienced people: buy sweets in at least two copies. Because someone, no, no, will eat candy while working.

Car

Well, what boy doesn’t dream of owning a car, becoming a racer and being a speedway star? And even if his favorite character is McQueen from the cartoon “Cars,” this does not change the essence. You can make a boy happy with a candy machine. This is a surprise, chocolate and a toy (almost like the motto of Kinder Surprise). A visual aid on how to bring this idea to life in this video:

DIY candy tank: master class with instructions and video

We very often rack our brains over what to give a man for a holiday. Often, little comes to mind: a pair of socks and a fragrant perfume are no longer relevant for our tastes. It is enough just to understand the interests of the man, then the issue with the gift will be closed. Most men, despite their masculine interests, have a sweet tooth, and one of their favorite hobbies is computer games. So why not combine such pleasant hobbies into one gift? Today we will try to make a tank from candies with our own hands. What is also important is that products made by hand have a special value.

The idea of making various products from sweets first appeared in France; on church holidays it was customary to give sweet gifts. Around 1659, the French opened the first chocolate factory. And over time, this tradition spread to all everyday holidays. The first name for a bouquet of candies was “bonbonnieres,” which means “candy.” At weddings, it was customary to give each guest a small gift in the form of a box of sweets in the shape of flowers. Then this technique began to spread to other countries.

And already in 2000, candy bouquets changed their appearance and were made from different types of candies and different shapes. Everyday life items, designer jewelry, cartoon characters, etc. are all made from candy. So in today’s master class we’ll look at one of them.

Crafts for girls

It is much easier to please a child than an adult, the main thing is desire. And on the Internet there are a dime a dozen interesting projects.

As a surprise you can create:

Doll made of corrugated paper and candies

This gift will combine everything a girl likes: a doll, a beautiful outfit, flowers and a treat. As a rule, dolls of the Barbie type from the Small classification are used. Their height ranges from 20 to 39 cm.

But you can make a souvenir with a doll with a height of 40-49 cm MSD (Mini super Dollfie) or SD (Super Dollfie) with a height of 50-69 cm. In this case, the consumables will need to be increased accordingly.

And the master class presented in this video will help you create this beauty:

Kinder cake

This is a joyful and long-awaited present. You can be sure that it will bring a lot of pleasure to both the little girl and the teenager. Although it’s hard to bend one’s heart – even for an adult.

This gift is reminiscent of the essence of a chocolate egg - there's a surprise waiting inside.

To create a cake you will need:

  • Cardboard and paper;
  • Chocolates and eggs;
  • Satin ribbon;
  • Glue gun;
  • Bows, rhinestones;
  • Lace.

The stages of work are as follows:

  1. From cardboard we cut out 2 circles corresponding to the diameter of the future cake - this will be the base and the lid.
  2. Inside this one circle we draw a smaller circle - we will glue the side of the cake to it.
  3. From thick A4 paper, cut out a rectangle with a height equal to the desired height of the cake.
  4. On one of the long sides we cut out small triangles, approximately 1 cm - this will make it more convenient to attach the side.
  5. Glue it to the cardboard base with the triangles facing down.
  6. We attach kinder chocolates to the board.
  7. We wrap the chocolates with a festive satin ribbon.
  8. Decorate the cardboard cover. You can glue lace, rhinestone bows and Kinder surprise eggs to it.

The cake is basically ready. It remains to figure out what the “filling” will be. Inside the resulting box you can put more chocolates, a soft toy, and anything else that can fit in it.

You can use the cake box for any event: March 8, birthday, New Year, Valentine's Day, etc. After all, she looks solemn.

Origami tank

Suitable for those who like to fold origami or as a gift for those men who are fond of this Japanese art.

In order to make a tank from origami modules you need to have enormous patience and quick hands, since to assemble it you will need 937 green triangular modules, 349 dark green, 341 light green, 42 yellow and 42 brown, i.e. a total of 1747 modules and 55 sheets of paper, as well as several sheets of green paper and 8 empty matchboxes. And only after all these parts are ready, you can start assembling the paper tank; by the way, it can be assembled simply from white modules, and then painted as desired.

To make it easier to understand how to assemble a tank from modules, you can use the video master class, it is not there in full, but only the important points of assembly:

There are many options for origami tank designs on the Internet; you can easily find an option that suits your complexity.

Tank of sweets and chocolates

Another tank making master class from me. What if the young man to whom you want to give such an unusual and fashionable gift prefers chocolates? Then this option will come in handy.

We will need

  • 2 chocolate bars of the same size (for example, Nuts and Nesquik)
  • “Martian” candies – 3 pieces
  • narrow tape
  • glue gun
  • 1.2 mm wide ribbon for decoration
  • green corrugated paper

To make the base for the tank, place two chocolates together and wrap them with tape.

It is not necessary to use the same chocolate bars; it is enough that they are the same in height and length.

The tails of the chocolates should first be bent using narrow tape.

Now wrap our base with a piece of green corrugation, as shown in the photo. Take its size so that the paper hides your chocolates. For me it is a rectangle 9 cm * 18 cm.

I secured the paper at the bottom with hot glue.

To decorate our tank, take a yellow narrow satin ribbon and secure it on both sides.

Now let's take on "The Martian". Secure the tails of the candies.

To make it faster, I used hot glue for this, or you can just use tape.

Then we will again use hot glue and glue candies (3 pieces) on top of the base of such a machine.

Like this. Nothing complicated.

Next you need to make the barrel. I take a piece of green paper (you can also use corrugated paper) measuring 5.5 cm * 12 cm and roll it into a tight tube. I fix the edges with glue.

I decorate one side with a yellow ribbon. Now I glue the barrel to the “Martian” candy itself.

Be sure to use hot glue here to ensure everything sticks well.

And so. Our supertank is ready.

All that remains is to glue the wheels.

I cut them out from one gift box that I had left over from the New Year holidays. Luckily there were a whole bunch of them in all sorts of different colors. Diameter – 2.5 cm, you need 4 pieces in total.

Well, we attached the wheels. Great?

I like it, what about you?

Such a simple idea for a sweet surprise will appeal to boys who need to be congratulated at school on February 23, for example, or to visit friends and surprise their sons.
