1. First, find material for the cover. Regular thick cardboard from a box will do, although you can try thin plywood boards. The cover should be 60 millimeters wider and 125 higher.
2. Now take 6 sheets and fold them in half. They need to be sewn in a figure eight on the fold, as in the video.
3. Once you have several stacks, place them on top of each other and sew them together in the same way. Make sure the sheets lie flat. To prevent them from moving, you can press them down with books. How many stacks can there be? At home, it is better not to make more than 100 pages.
4. Now take a strip of fabric. It should be 2 centimeters wider than the finished spine. Coat it with glue.
5. You need to find a middle ground so that there is enough glue, but it does not leak out. Glue it to the spine and press.
6. Now glue the cardboard to the first and last page.
7. Now cut a couple of pieces of fabric, 2 centimeters wider than the previous one. Glue them onto the cardboard to the spine and press them on top.
All that remains is to stick the decorative paper on top and the book is ready to be made.
