There is no such thing as too much jewelry - any true woman will tell you, no matter how old she is. And she’s right: jewelry is selected individually for different looks, and the more there are, the richer the variety of combinations. And if we take into account the current trend for “all the best at once” - voluminous multi-layered jewelry, then you simply cannot do without a rich arsenal of costume jewelry.
Naturally, the problem of storing all this wealth arises, because if you keep it in one box, chains, beads, earrings and others like them will instantly turn into a single lump, which will take a lot of time to unravel. And this approach does not have the best effect on the appearance of jewelry.
However, this problem can be solved with the help of an organizer for jewelry and jewelry, which you can make yourself.
DIY jewelry accessories
In this case, the old tray is used as a basis,
to which spools of thread are attached for hanging necklaces, bracelets or beads.
In addition, you can use small boxes (for example, from an old box) or jars for jewelry that is not hung:
rings, earrings and other items.
Screw hooks or screws were also used
All this, as a rule, can be found in the house by rummaging through old things.
The tools used were pliers.
1.
First we take screw hooks or screws, which should first be bent into a hook.
2.
The hook-shaped screw can easily be screwed into the tray by hand as shown in the picture. But first you need to put spools of thread on the hooks.
3.
Then we place small boxes at the bottom of our main tray.
4.
tags
from scrap materials on the boxes and near the hooks
In principle, the organizer is ready. However, for a beautiful look of the finished product, we recommend using the following instructions:
You will need: glue, scissors, fabric and cardboard.
1. Paint
wooden tray with spray paint. For a special beauty that gives the surface a solid and smooth look, you can apply a primer.
2.
Cut pieces of cardboard to fit your small boxes.
3.
Take a piece of fabric and cut it to a size that is approximately
1 cm larger than the size of the cardboard pieces.
4.
Place the fabric face down and place your piece of cardboard in the middle.
5.
Wrap a piece of cardboard in fabric and
glue it around the edges.
6.
Then place the resulting product on the box. Pre-apply glue to the bottom of the box. For better bonding, place some weight on the bonding surface.
7.
Do the same procedure with all small boxes.
8.
Tags for boxes can be made from patterned paper. The approach to making such tags will depend only on your imagination.
9.
We recommend gluing small boxes onto a soft material so that the paint does not come off if you want to dismantle them.
10.
Just as we did the upholstery of small boxes, we do the upholstery in the main patch. The fabric can be of a wide variety of colors, including burlap.
Jewelry storage frame
Frames or entire frames for jewelry are another popular and very beautiful way to store your earrings and beads while decorating your interior.
The basis for a jewelry holder can be:
- Photo frame;
- a picture frame or from an old mirror;
- hoop.
You can fill frames and frames with any material with a large number of holes, so you can easily attach earrings to it:
- lace;
- mosquito net;
- tulle;
- plastic or metal grill.
A frame filled with lace and all kinds of earrings will adequately decorate any room, attract the attention of guests and help forever forget about the problem of lost or forgotten jewelry in a huge jewelry chest
How to make an organizer from a window frame
If you have an old window frame lying around somewhere in your closet ,
Now is the time to take advantage of our tips for making an organizer from a window frame.
Necessary materials:
- Old wooden frame.
- Fabric or decorative paper.
- Screw hooks (or curved screws).
- Old door handles.
- Reiki.
- 2 - 4 hooks for attaching the structure to the wall (can be purchased at the store).
- Cardboard.
- Dowels (can be purchased at the store).
Required tools:
- Scissors.
- A glue gun (you can also use a glue brush).
- Brush.
- Hammer.
- Drill or screwdriver.
- Pliers.
- Sandpaper.
- Pencil.
- Saw (small, maybe a jigsaw).
- Small nails.
- Pliers.
1.
First, let's clean our frame of debris and paint.
It is also necessary to remove any remaining glass and nails. We do this using pliers.
2.
Next, sand the frame with sandpaper. If you want the organizer to be in white or light colors, you will first need to whitewash the frame with white paint.
3.
Now find out how your decorations will be placed on the future organizer in order to know how to install fastenings on them. To do this, you can simply carefully lay everything out on the table.
4.
Now you can create decorative walls using our organizer. To do this, take cardboard, previously cut with scissors to the required size, and attach it to the back side of the decorative paper or fabric.
5.
We glue the fabric and cardboard around the edges.
6.
Next, we prepare the slats according to the dimensions of our frame. To do this, we apply a piece of the slats to the frame and mark with a pencil where to saw off.
7.
Now we glue our decorative slats to the main frame.
8.
After the glue has dried, hammer the nails into the slats for better fastening.
9.
Now you can add more glue to better fix the entire structure.
10.
We screw in the screw hooks, having previously marked the screwing points with a pencil. You can screw it in by hand or using pliers.
11.
We also mark with a pencil the places for hanging jewelry and install door handles there. This can be done using a drill. Much will depend on the shape of your door handles.
12.
Drill a hole in the wall with a drill.
13.
We drive dowels into the resulting holes.
13.
Next, we install hooks to secure the structure and hang the finished product on the wall.
Option 2
This is another option for an organizer made from a window frame. Here, instead of hooks and handles, wire mesh was used.
The mesh on the back of the frame can be secured using small nails.
Plaster hand
The idea for creating this unusual jewelry stand was borrowed from showroom interiors.
Making a plaster stand with your own hands is easy. It is enough to follow a certain sequence of actions:
- Prepare the necessary material: dry gypsum powder (1kg), thick rubber glove, wooden board and pencil, furniture stapler, drill and jigsaw.
- Having measured the wrist of the glove, trace it on a wooden plank and then cut out a hole of the appropriate diameter. The edges of the workpiece must be cleaned.
- A rubber glove is threaded into the prepared hole of a wooden board and secured at the edges with a furniture stapler.
- Dry gypsum powder is mixed with water until it becomes thick sour cream. The resulting mixture is carefully poured into a rubber glove.

Important: you must ensure that the plaster fills the glove evenly, without gaps or air bubbles.
- The glove is left for forty-eight hours until the plaster hardens completely.
- After the plaster has dried, the rubber glove is cut. The jewelry stand is ready.
Organizer from a board
Here's a wonderful, stylish hanger for hanging jewelry you can make from an ordinary old board.
You will need:
- A piece of an old board.
- Handles from old doors and drawers (you can buy them, for example, at a flea market).
- Hooks for wall mounting.
- Dowels.
You will also need tools:
- Drill.
- Pencil.
- Ruler.
1.
Measure with a ruler and mark the places for the handles with a pencil.
Variable ways to create original caskets
A stylish modern organizer or travel bag can be made from different items:
- cardboard candy boxes;
- coffee or tea cans;
- spools of cable, wires or tape;
- baguettes and cornices;
- frames for mirrors or paintings;
- bamboo napkins;
- postcards;
- plastic bottles;
- CDs;
- wooden blanks made from parts of outdated furniture.
Waste household items can be reused as home treasuries for storing jewelry. They can be made not only in the traditional round or rectangular shape, but also visually resemble a basket with a lid, a barrel, a pyramid or a Rubik's cube. The more plastic and softer the material from which the decoration item is made, the easier it is to give it a fancy shape.
Thick paper and plastic, which can be easily modified when exposed to a fire source, are excellent for this purpose. Even from thick fabric you can make a textile box if you starch the fabric well and cover it with a solid and stable structure of the required shape. If you want to create an exclusive jewelry organizer, there will certainly be things in your home that can instantly be turned into an original jewelry box.
Organizer from a hanger
Do you know how you can use a wooden clothes hanger?
You can make an amazing jewelry organizer out of it.
You just need to pre-drill small holes in the base of the hanger, where you can then insert the hooks. After this you will receive an extremely practical organizer.
Such a product can be hung almost anywhere and even taken with you to the bathroom or other fitting room. This organizer is capable of storing necklaces, bracelets and even rings. A simpler organizer could hardly be found.
Household items as decoration stands
Sometimes you don’t have to go far to find a jewelry stand, but you just need to take a fresh look at familiar things.
Earrings and beads can be conveniently placed on/in the following household items:
- Hooks for towels or clothes.
There is nothing easier than reclassifying coat hooks into jewelry holders. You can use ordinary store-bought ones made of wood, plastic or metal, without making any special efforts to decorate, because beads and bracelets will successfully complete this task.
- Clothes hanger.
An ordinary hanger can, indeed, perform the function of storing jewelry with great success: earrings should be placed on additional hooks under the hangers, bracelets should be placed on a metal rod, and beads should be tied in a loop on the crossbar. A wooden hanger hung with jewelry looks the most aesthetically pleasing. If desired, it can be painted in some neutral color or decorated using the decoupage technique.
- Grater.
The graters with their small holes along the entire perimeter seemed to be created just for this purpose - so that girls could insert the hooks and clasps of their earrings into them.
In fact, the grater is a rather old invention, which during its existence has rightfully deserved to be the main theme for entire museums and the most interesting private collections. The first grater was invented in the mid-16th century by the Frenchman Francois Bouillet specifically to grind dried cheese, and then began to be used for all other products.
Thanks to four sides (or even more in modern models), you can easily place a huge number of decorations on the grater and, by turning the pyramid, see and select what you need for your current situation.
Oddly enough, it is best to use a Soviet grandmother’s grater for decoration, even if it is bent or rusted in places . By spray painting it with any color that matches the interior, you can get not only an excellent holder for jewelry, but also a really interesting art object.
- Cups and saucers.
An elegant tea set of coffee cups and saucers, one of those that everyone has received at least once as a gift and for some reason hardly ever uses, will be a wonderful way to store jewelry. Filled with chains and rings, as well as earrings and beads, it can be placed right next to the mirror, or you can put it in a chest of drawers or a dressing table drawer, and open it every morning before going out, like a real treasury.
- Desk drawers.
The drawers of an old kitchen or desk, especially if they have partitions inside, will become an excellent shelf for any small items, including earrings and bracelets.
Among other things, they are notable for the fact that it is easy to hook earrings onto a wooden base, as well as attach push pins or nail small nails and hang beads and chains on them . And the bracelets fit perfectly on any stable cylinder, such as an empty soda bottle or toilet paper roll.
In addition to a wooden box, you can use an old Soviet first aid kit in exactly the same way, if you remove the door - don’t hide such beauty!
Storage Organizer
This organizer is simple
in production. It is suitable for storing small items such as glasses, keys, jewelry and others.
You will need:
- A piece of plywood.
- Thin board.
- Dye.
- Textile.
- Decorative hooks (can be purchased at the store).
- Nails.
- Screws.
- Wire.
- 2 tin cans.
- Decorative paper.
- Tray.
- A piece of any fur.
Tools:
- Brush.
- Saw.
- Screwdriver.
1.
First you need to decide on the sizes. Make sure that all sides of the future organizer are even.
2.
We paint the plywood.
3.
Next, we try on the boards along the edges of our plywood. We cut boards to the size of plywood. The angle should be 45 degrees.
4.
We paint the resulting boards.
5.
Next, on the back you need to install a mount for hanging on the wall. In this case, screws and wire were used. The screws can be tightened with a screwdriver.
6.
Now let's take care of our banks. Let's paint them inside first. You can use spray paint for this.
7.
Then we paint the outside. In this case we used two different paints.
8.
Now we will apply our decorative paper using glue. Additionally, patterned napkins can be attached as decoration.
9.
In addition, we built a small organizer inside a larger organizer using small slats and chicken wire.
10.
We install decorative hooks to our organizer.
11.
You can also place a stand for hoops on the chest of drawers, next to the wall organizer. The stand in the photo was previously a mug stand. We simply repainted it to match our light style.
12.
Now let's secure the fur in our tray as shown in the photo.
13.
Finally, the last part of our all-in-one organizer is a box for larger items like scarves and belts. In this case, a plastic laundry tray is taken, to which you can stick decorative paper or fabric.
All is ready. Let's see what we got.
How to store a wristwatch?
An expensive watch is not only a functional accessory or a beautiful decoration. It is also an attribute of a successful person, an indicator of his financial solvency. Naturally, such an item needs special care. This concerns, first of all, the choice of place to store wristwatches.
For expensive, rare models or items of jewelry value, many different storage devices are offered today.
The most common option. There is probably a wooden, metal, plastic, stone box in every home. Jewelry or valuables are stored there. You can also store chronometers there.
These are also unique boxes for storing automatic watches. Such storage will perfectly protect the accessory from moisture, dust, and mechanical damage. In addition, this device is a special rotating bowl, the vibrations of which very accurately imitate the movements of the hand of a walking person. Time movers usually have a glass door through which you can observe the pendulum oscillations of the chronometer.
The watch in such a device is always ready for work and has almost maximum charge. Constant movement is necessary for mechanical models, otherwise their mechanism ceases to function normally.
An ideal place to store valuable items whose cost or aesthetic value does not allow them to be kept in the public domain. Outwardly, they have nothing in common with the usual bulky code boxes. They rather resemble unusual interior details, so it is not so easy for an uninitiated visitor to the room to notice them.
Such safes are equipped with combination locks, special sensors that allow you to “remember” fingerprints, a GPS system, automatic winding and other functions.
For storing chronometers, you can choose less exotic options. The main thing is to follow simple recommendations:
To store your collection, you can purchase special boxes or safes with several compartments. General storage will not harm the watch mechanism in any way, especially since there is a special compartment in the box for each piece.
Today they are presented in a huge assortment and allow you to perform 2 functions at once: a place to store an accessory and an element of interior decor.
There are no clear recommendations on how to position the clock correctly. They are usually positioned with the dial facing up to protect the watch from scratches.
It is best to store specimens with moving parts or particularly valuable models in special cases that are supplied by the manufacturing companies with the purchase. As a rule, they are already equipped with everything necessary for reliable and safe storage.
A leather or metal bracelet needs periodic cleaning to ensure that the watch retains its original shine and beauty for a long time.
The metal bracelet is easy to care for. It is enough to occasionally clean the links with soapy water and an old toothbrush.
One of the ways to clean a metal bracelet is shown in this video.
Skin requires more delicate and subtle care. Watches with a leather bracelet should be kept away from water, and if drops of moisture get on them, wipe them dry immediately.
It is not recommended to leave this watch in direct sunlight. The skin dries out, cracks, and changes color intensity. Such a bracelet should be cleaned using special products that can be purchased in the store along with the watch, or you can have it professionally cleaned in a workshop.
All women love a variety of jewelry, because they can be a wonderful addition to any outfit and complete the created look. But where to store them?
As a rule, many people use a variety of boxes for storage. However, you must admit that in order to put absolutely all the jewelry in them, the boxes are not very suitable: chains and bracelets get confused with each other, and in this confusion, sometimes it is impossible to quickly get what you need at the moment.
Stand for jewelry and costume jewelry
An excellent alternative that will save you time and nerves, and maybe even money (after all, broken chains will have to be repaired) is a jewelry stand. You can buy it at any souvenir shop. These stands can have a variety of shapes: they can be made in the form of various figures, or they can take the form of a simple abstraction with many branches on which you can hang bracelets, pendants, rings and earrings. Recently, such stands have become incredibly popular, because all the decorations will always be at your fingertips.
In general, such a stand is very easy to make with your own hands. In this case, it will differ not only in functionality and convenience, but also in originality, because it will be a truly exclusive item. You can always give such a stand to your girlfriends later; they will certainly be pleasantly surprised and delighted by such a gift.
DIY stand for jewelry and costume jewelry
A stand for jewelry and costume jewelry will look like an elegant and attractive bust. To make this accessory you will need a silhouette template (it is best if it is a female silhouette in the style of the eighteenth or nineteenth century), a piece of wood or plywood, as well as sanding paper, paint of a suitable color for you, tools for cutting along the contour (then you can do this as carefully as possible), clamps for safe wood cutting, nails and bolts and a pencil. Note that in general painting the stand is optional, especially if you chose wood of a beautiful shade to make it. In this case, you can simply varnish it to protect it from damage.
Organizer for small items
If you have a wonderful game "Jenga",
but most of the sticks have already been lost, then don’t despair. The remaining sticks will certainly be put to good use.
You can use an analogue of “Jenga sticks”. It all depends on your imagination.
So let's get started. All you need:
- Dye.
- Glue (in this case for gluing wood).
- Sticks.
- Acrylic paint.
- Sponge.
- Adhesive tape.
- Wax paper.
- Nails.
- Hammer.
- Pencil.
1.
Start by laying out wax paper on your work area. It will protect our workplace from damage, from paint and glue stains.
2.
Lay the entire structure together to immediately decide on its appearance.
3.
Apply adhesive tape to prepare the sticks for painting. The tape will block the areas we don't want to paint.
4.
We paint with a foam sponge.
5.
Allow the paint to dry for at least one hour, after which you can remove the adhesive tape.
6.
Glue the sticks together as shown in the picture. Don't skip the sides of the sticks that need to be coated with glue beforehand.
7.
Let the glue dry for at least 5 hours.
8.
Next, mark with a pencil the places where we will nail the nails.
9.
We nail the nails for the best mounting of the organizer.
10.
We install the entire structure in its place. All is ready. Now you can hang your favorite jewelry.
Jewelry stand: ring organizer
If you have a problem storing rings,
then we suggest creating a simple organizer with your own hands.
You will need:
- A piece of foam rubber (you can take an old washcloth).
- Flat jar (for example, from sprat).
- Decorative material.
- Ruler.
- Marker.
- Knife.
- Scissors.
1.
Mark on the foam rubber with a ruler and a marker the places for the rims of the rings.
2.
Using a knife, cut the grooves in the marked places.
3.
Using a knife, place the decorative material into the grooves.
4.
We cut off excess material with scissors.
A reliable organizer for storing rings is ready.
Principle of preparation of tools and materials
You can make a watch box with your own hands only if you have certain tools and materials. It is necessary to stock up on the following devices:
- Boards with a thickness of 2 cm.
- Glue for fastening wood.
- Saw, jigsaw.
- Liquid Nails.
- Sandpaper.
- Varnish for opening the case.
- Thick soft fabric for interior decoration.
- Small nails and a hammer.
- Putty for wood processing.
- Lock or latch.
- Small awnings.
- Primer for wood.
- Rubber spatula.
- Brush.
Depending on the decorative finish, other tools and materials are selected.
Jewelry organizer
The basis of this organizer is a wooden frame, which was purchased in the stationery department of the store.
You will need:
- Dye.
- Rope.
- Brush.
- Screws (in this case hook screws are used).
- Varnish.
1.
First, we coat the product with paint and varnish. The color depends on your imagination.
2.
Then we place our screws. If you are screwing in hook screws, you need to be careful not to screw in such a screw too close to the door, otherwise it will not close well.
3.
All you need to do now is hang the earrings.
Tree for decorations
Making a stand for jewelry in the form of a branchy fruit-bearing tree is a great idea, suggested by nature itself, especially since it is not so difficult to implement.
Popular articles Murchik of British blood
Trees for storing earrings can be made of several types:
Made from real tree branches.
This is the simplest and most obvious option, for which you just need to choose a suitable strong branch and a stand for it, or simply nail the branch to the wall and hang your jewelry on it.
Wire tree.
A tree made from twisted wire, placed in a decorative vase or framed, can look very unusual and conceptual. The main condition is to choose the right wire. It should curl well, keep its shape and not be brittle. Copper wire is best suited for these purposes.
Wall organizer
Such a stylish and practical organizer can be made from an ordinary rake.
You will need:
- Rake. They can be purchased at various stores or you can take old ones, if available. The main thing is that they are intact and not rusty.
- Saw.
- Pliers.
- Sandpaper.
- Spray paint.
- Scourge rope.
- Dowel.
- Drill.
1.
We saw off the iron base of the rake from the wooden handle.
2.
We also saw off the iron rim at the base. For convenience, you can use pliers.
3.
Now our iron base needs to be prepared for painting. Using sandpaper, remove all roughness and old paint.
4.
Let's start painting. We select the color scheme to suit our taste. In this case, two layers of gray paint and four layers of white were applied.
5.
We use twine to make a decorative winding and an additional holder for earrings.
6.
Drill a hole in the wall.
7.
We drive in the dowel.
8.
We install our ready-made organizer on the wall.
Making a watch storage box from an old sewing machine box
I have a lot of hours. Kept. Well, they were somehow stored. The theme week provided an excellent opportunity to streamline the storage process.
The basis was a wooden box; it used to be related to sewing machines and all sorts of sewing supplies were stored in it.
Stage 1. Preparation.
Using a sanding machine, I removed the old coating, washed and dried, and degreased with white spirit.
Over the course of its long life, the box had dried out in some places, so I glued the parts together using Moment glue, fixed it, and gave the parts time to stick together.
After a couple of hours, I removed the clamps and started painting. I wanted something intensely bright, and I settled on a combination of purple and fuchsia.
Stage 2. Painting and finishing the inside of the box.
I didn’t use a primer - I applied the paint right away. I painted it 2 times. I gave it time to dry, since acrylic paint dries quickly. Then I varnished it in one layer. Left it to dry.
Next, we cut out the felt to finish the inside of the box.
I cut out the parts one at a time and glued them one at a time using Moment Classic glue, taking measurements for each so that the felt would fit tightly.
In this way I covered the bottom of the box and four inner sides.
On the outer sides of this box there were holes, through which it was attached to the underframe of the sewing machine.
I did not seal them with mastic at the preparation stage, but decided to decorate them with felt in the same way as the inside. I coated the inside with glue and, using a ruler, cut a thin strip of felt of a suitable size and inserted it into the hole.
Next, we take the thermal insulation for the pipes - it is very suitable for my purpose (and not only - there are a lot of possibilities for use) - this is the most important element of the watch storage box. It is on this tube that the clock will be strung.
Having measured the distance inside the box from side to side, taking into account that the pipe (let's call it that) should fit very tightly to the sides, we cut off a piece of the required size. Thermal insulation can be cut perfectly with a simple stationery knife. For ease of use, I made a small gap between the tubes so that during operation I could easily get the desired watch. You can see the result in the photo below.
Stage 3. Equipment.
And finally, we equip the box with clocks.
Can be placed in open storage, or closed. Very convenient - everything is in sight.
This option is also quite suitable for storing jewelry.

Hanging organizer for small items and jewelry
This organizer was based on an old tray,
bought at a flea market. You can, of course, use any suitable product.
You will need:
- Wooden tray.
- Glue.
- Clothespins.
- Wooden slats.
- Decorative screw-in hooks.
- Decorative rings.
- Nails.
- Hammer.
- Dye.
- Sealant.
- Varnish.
- Dowels.
1.
We start by sealing all the cracks and damage. Minor damage can be glued. Otherwise, we nail and glue the wooden slats.
2.
In this case, a retro style was used. First, we cover our tray with sealant.
3.
When the sealant dries, cracks will form. This is how our style is created. Next we cover it with a layer of paint.
4.
Then cover with another layer of sealant.
5.
Next we apply another layer of paint.
6.
After everything has dried, apply varnish to the product.
7.
Now we install decorative rings and hooks, as shown in the photographs. Of course, you can come up with your own original design.
8.
All that remains is to hang our organizer on the wall. To do this, we will use dowels and hooks pre-installed on the back of the organizer.
Bead organizer
Simple and convenient is the basic principle used to create this organizer.
You will need:
- The board is about 1 m long and 10 cm high.
- Wooden cylinders (champagne or wine corks can be used).
- Dye.
- Sandpaper.
- Glue.
- Brush.
- Dowels.
- Fastenings.
1.
First, let's sand our board and cylinders (if necessary) with sandpaper.
2.
We paint our cylinders. In order not to make a mistake with the color, you can first apply paint to the paper. Use the color you like best. We do not apply paint to places that will be glued.
3.
We paint the board.
4.
We glue our cylinders.
5.
We install fastenings to the finished organizer.
6.
We install dowels.
7.
We hang the organizer using dowels.
Features of making the box
Before you start work, it is worth preparing at least a rough sketch of the future product. The drawing parameters must correspond to the dimensions of the watch. A rectangular shape is suitable for a home product. For travel, it is worth making a square case. Next, the body is manufactured:
- Using a jigsaw, make blanks to form the walls, bottom and lid of the case. The cuts must be sanded with sandpaper. This will help remove all roughness and visible differences.
- First, coat all joints with liquid nails and glue the wooden box together. This will be the basis of the fastening.
- Knock down the box using small nails. It is advisable to lubricate the nails with wax first. This technique will help maintain the integrity of the wooden panel, preventing splits.
- Make a recess in the lid. It is advisable to remove half the thickness of the board. The notch will be inside the case. Attach the lid to the finished box using awnings.
Here is the base of a wooden watch box made with your own hands. Additionally, from the remains of the board, you can cut out small squares that will be the legs. The elements are easily attached to the body using liquid nails.
Home organizer
Using simple operations we will transform a table leg
in a beautiful organizer.
You will need:
- Table leg (you can buy either new or at the flea market).
- Footrest.
- Reiki.
- Drill.
- Reiki.
- Brush.
- Glossy paint.
- Primer.
- Sandpaper.
1.
Drill holes in the leg for the slats using a drill.
2.
Sand all parts with sandpaper.
3.
Apply a layer of primer (except for gluing areas).
4.
Apply two layers of paint (except for gluing areas).
5.
Glue the stand and slats together.
The home organizer is ready.
Desk organizer
Everyone has a place on their desk for a night light. This decor makes a good stand for DIY jewelry.
- a lampshade made of durable fabric with pinholes is suitable;
— the fastenings will not be able to support heavy jewelry, so they will serve as hooks for earrings and light bracelets.
For girls who appreciate original things, this is what you need. The earring organizer is ready!
Home organizer
Organizer made from a baguette frame
very simple and practical.
You will need:
- Baguette picture frame.
- Paints or fabric (whichever you prefer).
- Nails.
- Hammer.
1.
In this project, several design options for the organizer were used:
- Decorate the front part of the baguette frame to your taste.
- Glue your favorite fabric onto the front of the baguette frame.
2.
We nail the nails to hang our decorations.
The organizer is ready. It can be installed on a chest of drawers, dressing table or other furniture. In addition, this convenient organizer can be hung on the wall using a loop and a nail.
Finishing of the finished body
In order for the case to have an attractive appearance, it is necessary to make external finishing. The processing principle consists of the following steps:
- Cover the cut edges of the boards with putty. Additionally, it is worth caulking the joints in the body. Places where nails were driven must also be hidden with putty.
- Lightly sand the areas treated with putty. Sandpaper is used for these purposes.
- When the putty dries, you should coat the box with primer. This will help preserve the tree much longer.
- The third stage in processing will be opening the case with varnish. It is advisable to apply several layers. Each layer must be formed after the previous one has dried.
A home-made watch storage box can be even more attractive if it is carved in wood. Then all the rest of the finishing is done after creating the pattern.
Elegant organizer
A simple piece of plywood
can become not only a convenient organizer, but also a decoration for your home.
You will need:
- A square-shaped board (it can be chipboard, fibreboard or other wood material).
- Small nails.
- Hammer.
- The fabric is larger than the board.
- Wall mount.
- Decorative nails.
1.
First, let's nail the fabric to the board. Fold the fabric over the back side and nail it with small nails.
2.
We nail (usually these nails are simply pressed in with your fingers) decorative nails. Remember to leave a few millimeters of space between decorative nails so that the decorations do not mix with each other.
3.
We install the mount on the back of our “picture” and then hang it on the wall.
The organizer is ready.
What types of jewelry organizers are there?
The variety of organizers for jewelry and decorations defies classification. They take a wide variety of forms: pencil cases, boxes, all kinds of hangers, stands...
Depending on the location, the organizer for storing jewelry can be:
- Desktop. Its place is on a table, chest of drawers, shelf - in a word, on any horizontal plane. Decorations in them can either simply lie or be stored in a suspended state (for example, on an impromptu tree).
- Wall-mounted. Organizers of this type are hung on a wall or other vertical surface. These are mainly all kinds of frames and boards with various fastening systems (nails, hooks, ribbons, door handles, chains, and so on).
- Floor-standing. These are the most voluminous and bulky options installed on the floor. These are floor hangers and decorative trees, which also serve as interior decorations.
Whatever your organizer, its main purpose is to provide optimal conditions for storing jewelry. Ideally, they should be located away from heat sources, avoid damp places and direct sunlight.
