How to register a jammer?

The easiest way is to go to the government services portal and submit an application electronically. However, you will still have to go through the motions to obtain permission to jam - an invitation will be sent to your personal account on the website.

The statement states:

  • Full name, TIN, place of residence, details of the identity document of a citizen of the Russian Federation;
  • type, name and number of the registered device;
  • number and date of permission to use radio frequencies (radio frequency channels) for radio-electronic equipment issued in the name of the applicant (if such is provided for your jammer by the legislation of the Russian Federation);
  • numbers and date of the certificate of formation of the call sign (if such is provided for your jammer by the legislation of the Russian Federation).

Permits are issued by specialists from the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications. They will have to present a long list of documents:

  • information on the technical characteristics and radiation parameters of registered radio-electronic equipment and high-frequency devices;
  • SCRF decision to allocate radio frequency bands for high-frequency devices in the event that the operating radio frequency band of the high-frequency device does not correspond to the list of radio frequencies intended for use in industrial, scientific, medical and household high-frequency devices (list of frequencies here);
  • decision of the SCRF on the allocation of radio frequency bands for radio-electronic equipment if such a decision provides for the possibility of using radio frequencies or radio frequency channels without obtaining permission to use radio frequencies or radio frequency channels (for most devices this is the decision of the SCRF No. 05-10-03-001 “On the allocation of a band radio frequencies 0.1-1000 MHz...");
  • permission to use radio frequencies or radio frequency channels;
  • certificate of formation of identification call signs.

How to understand that the signal is being jammed

If the connection goes out for everyone at the same time in a small area, then it is almost certainly a jammer. Inexpensive portable models are effective within a radius of 5-10 meters, industrial ones - up to 300 meters.

It’s more difficult if they jam it from a car, minibus, etc. But the logic is the same. Once you exit, the signal will most likely return.

So, if Wi-Fi suddenly turned off in the office and wireless headphones, mice and keyboards began to malfunction, someone nearby must have turned on the jammer. And if the navigator sent you to Kuala Lumpur or Domodedovo, the government motorcade is traveling nearby.

A reliable way to determine whether a jammer is working right now is a radio signal detector, also known as a field indicator or bug detector. Such a device for 5-10 thousand rubles will allow you to scan a room and find the source of interference.

How to jam your neighbor's wifi

First of all, figure out why you want to block someone else’s wireless network. If your neighbor's wifi is interfering with your router, jamming is not the solution. It will block the wireless Internet not only for your neighbor, but also for you. In such a situation, simply select a different wifi channel on your router.

If you still decide to jam your neighbor’s Internet, use one of the following methods.

Set the router power to maximum

Installation of the device is completely simple. The antenna is screwed into the connector, and the jammer will suppress the signals within ten seconds after switching on. The blocker is able to work both offline and via a network. You can also use the car's cigarette lighter if necessary.

But we should not forget that illegal use of the device is a violation of the law.

Wi-Fi/Bluetooth

Such jammers are often combined in one device with cellular jammers. They are designed to block data transmission channels of wireless cameras. This provides additional protection against information leaks.

If such a jammer is active in the room, then in addition to hidden surveillance cameras, routers, wireless keyboards and mice do not work.

The jammer circuit includes the following mandatory components - a bipolar transistor, a trimmer capacitor, capacitors, resistors, an inductor and an antenna. The diagram shows a standard medium power receiver. His scheme includes:

  • C2 - capacitor (18-30 pF);

  • C5 - capacitor (10 pF);
  • R1 - resistor (5 Ohm);
  • R2 - resistor (10 Ohm);
  • R3 - resistor (100 Ohm);
  • L1 - inductor;
  • antenna - located between capacitors C3, C5 and C2.

Description of the diagram

Above is the simplest muffler diagram for self-assembly. The device works not only to suppress FM, but also television signals. The device is capable of jamming almost any TV channel at a distance of up to 15 m from the TV (does not work for satellite set-top boxes).

Any types of HF and microwave transistors are suitable for use, for example, KT 368, 325 or 399. If you use microwave transistors, the maximum operating range reaches up to 50 m.

The circuit contains 5-6 turns with a diameter of 0.5 to 0.7 mm, wound on a frame with a diameter of 4 mm. The transmission circuit was replaced to generate interference on the AM and FM bands, since this is where most TV and radio channels operate.

A small piece of 15 cm copper wire is used as an antenna. By rotating the variable capacitor, the device is adjusted to suppress channels that are located in the nearest ranges. The power of the device is enough to suppress 2-3 television or radio channels simultaneously.

Power supply - from 4 to 12 W voltage. For this, crown, corundum or other sources that can provide constant voltage are suitable. The capacitors in the circuit cannot be tilted in different directions even by 1 picofarad, because the device may not work or may stop working altogether.

Recommended current consumption varies from 5 to 7 mA from the crown. Using powerful field-effect transistors, you can suppress both the GPS range and mobile communications.

What is FM jammer

Another name is an FM signal suppressor, which operates over the entire FM broadcast range. The operating frequency varies from 87.5 to 108 MHz. Use at home, in the country or in any other place where receivers can be found. Helps prevent loud music listening by cutting off the receiving frequency. The most effective suppression radius is from 10 to 50 m.

The operating range of the device depends on the quality of the electromagnetic field at the place of use, the proximity of the broadcast sensors, the type of receiving device and the density of buildings (the fewer buildings nearby, the better). Similar schemes were used in the former USSR to jam various transmitters that broadcast prohibited music or programs.
