Tenderness in every crystal: DIY beaded snowflakes

Handmade decorations are gradually gaining more and more space on the branches of New Year trees. The choice of material for manufacturing is limited only by a lack of imagination. You can use cones and acorns, Kinder surprise toys, buttons, candies and tangerines, threads and foil - whatever is at hand. Beads are also a suitable material for creating New Year's decorations.

Products made from beads and pearls are especially elegant and elegant. There are various master classes on making snowflakes from beads with your own hands; diagrams of weaving options will help you successfully complete the job.

Beaded snowflake for beginners: step-by-step master class

Weaving snowflakes from beads is a very cute and simply fabulous New Year's activity. Shining beads and small beads create an incredible harmony of color, shape and structure, imitating the crystals of a real snowflake.

Even if you are new to beading, you can create an incredible DIY snowflake. Let's look at the simplest diagrams and instructions .

Snowflake made of beads and bugles: instructions for beginners

To work you will need:

  • 6-8 identical pieces of thin wire;
  • a small piece of foam;
  • beads, beads and glass beads;
  • scissors;
  • gold or silver paint.

  1. To begin with, we measure the pieces of wire so that they are the same.
  2. At the end of each segment we make a loop so that the beads do not fly off.
  3. We string beads and glass beads onto pieces of wire in the order you like best.
  4. Maintain symmetry and try to string small beads at the base, and large ones closer to the edge of the wire piece.
  5. Insert the finished “rays” of snowflakes into a small piece of foam plastic so that they touch each other at one point and resemble a snowflake.
  6. The foam can be coated with gold or silver paint.

Also, a large bead with several holes is often used as the “center” for a snowflake. Snowflakes made from beads and beads, created by yourself, look very beautiful and festive.

You can decorate a Christmas tree with a finished snowflake, hang several products on the windows as a garland, or decorate the walls of your house.

Beads for the New Year: complex snowflake (pattern)

You will need:

- white glass beads - short (5mm) and long (8mm).

– large beads (color: white)

- wire (diameter 0.3-0.4mm)

1. Prepare a piece of wire 30 cm long. Start stringing long glass beads on it - 4 pieces in total. Place all the parts in the center and twist the wire to create a diamond shape.

2. Place 2 more long glass beads on one end of the wire. After the last part, bend the wire back and twist it between them. Do the same with the other end of the wire.

3. Now on each side of the wire you need to insert one more long glass bead to get a rhombus with “horns”.

4. Make the same rhombus from short glass beads.

5. Using a short glass bead, make two horns.

Place one long glass bead on one end of the wire, and stretch the other end along it. Next, twist the ends and cut off the excess wire.

Make 6 similar blanks.

6. Using a short piece of wire, try to connect two adjacent elements - to do this, thread the wire through the glass beads of the lower diamond.

7. Start stringing 3 large beads onto the end of the twisted wire. Tighten the wire and remove excess.

Try to connect all the parts in a similar way.

8. To make your design stronger, you need to intertwine the inner ring of diamonds with a piece of wire and add 1 large bead to each diamond. If you wish, you can insert one large bead into the center of the composition.

Decorative snowflake made of beads: DIY winter decoration

If you have started weaving snowflakes from beads, you simply need a detailed description of the entire process. As well as step-by-step photos so you don't miss a single detail.

For this New Year's craft you will need:

  • beads;
  • bugles;
  • bead needle;
  • fishing line, diameter 0.4 mm.

How to make a snowflake: a master class with photos for beginners

1. We fix the first bead on a piece of fishing line about 1 meter long.

2. Add 7 beads and pass the end of the fishing line through the first attached bead.

3. Add 11 more beads , insert the needle and pull it through the 6th bead.

4. This “curl” is one of the facets of the future snowflake.

5. We pass the needle through 5 beads to the base of the edge and through one bead in the middle.

6. Repeat as we did in steps 3-5 until we have 8 faces of the snowflake.

7. Select one edge and pass the needle and fishing line through the beads to the top.

8. Add 2 bugles.

9. Make a loop on the adjacent edge and tighten it.

10. We continue to add 2 bugles , moving from edge to edge of the snowflake in a circle.

11. Pull the needle and fishing line up another 2 beads.

12. This time, to connect the edges, we use the combination: bugle bead-bead-bugle bead and again tighten the loop on the adjacent edge.

13. Move in a circle, adding links of bugles and beads.

14. At the end, we secure the structure with a knot.

A beautiful and unusual snowflake made of beads with your own hands is ready. It can be hung on a Christmas tree or used as a pendant.

Weaving snowflakes using a simple pattern

List of materials:

  • beads No. 11 (take colors as desired: from white, transparent to silver);
  • fishing line or thread;
  • needle of the required diameter.

Thread a thread 20 cm long into a needle and tie a knot at the end.

The product consists of five rows, each of them has a corresponding color. The first is green, the second is lilac, the third is brown, the fourth is red and the fifth is purple.

We take a thread and string twelve beads onto it, then make a circle out of them. We bring the needle through the first bead (Fig. 1).

Fig.1

Second row. Collect 3 beads. Pass the needle through the beads of the initial row and out. The result is a triangle. Make six more triangles in this way. Pass the thread through the first and second beads of the second row (Fig. 2).

Fig.2

Third row. We string five beads. We pass the thread through the top of the triangle of the 2nd row. We repeat five times. Towards the end of the row, pass the thread through the beads of the second, third and first rows. In order not to confuse anything, look at the diagram (Fig. 3).

Fig.3 Fig.4

Fourth row. We put a couple of beads on the thread and pass them through the fourth bead in the third row. Add 3 more beads, pass through the seventh bead in the third row. The thread is out. Repeat until the end. After finishing the work, bring the thread through the first bead (Fig. 4).

Fig.5

The fifth row corresponds to the diagram in Figure No. 5. At the end of the work, tie the thread so that the snowflake does not unravel (Fig. 5).

Beaded snowflakes: diagrams and step-by-step photos

Flat snowflakes

Snowflake No. 1

The snowflake is made of gold and pearl-pink beads with a diameter of 4 mm. Carry out the product in accordance with Fig. 21. When weaving the last rows of snowflakes, you can use a needle, since the hole in the beads is quite large. Be careful not to twist the wire, as this will create small knots and the wire will break easily in these places. It is advisable to go through the last row twice so that the product is sufficiently rigid and holds its shape. The finished snowflake has a diameter of slightly more than 7 cm. You can also use fishing line for weaving.

Finally, thread the gold thread through any of the outermost gold beads, tie a small knot, and then you can hang the snowflake on the Christmas tree.

1st row, cast on 16 beads, alternating gold and pink beads. Close the beads into a ring (Fig. 21, a). 2nd row - consists of 8 rays, 3 gold-colored beads in each ray (Fig. 21, b, c, d). 3rd row - also consists of 8 rays and each has 5 pink and 3 gold beads, forming a picot (Fig. 21, e, f, g, i, i). 4th row - just like the second row, consists of 8 rays but 3 gold beads in each (Fig. 22, j-l).

Snowflake No. 2

This snowflake is made of 4mm and 2mm gold beads and 4mm pearl pink beads. How to make a snowflake is shown in Fig. 22. When finished, this product has a diameter of 9 cm.

1st row - collect 4 gold beads and close them in a ring (Fig. 23, a, b). The 2nd row consists of 4 pink beads (Fig. 24, a, 6). The 3rd row has 4 rays, each of which consists of 5 pink beads (Fig. 25, a-c). The 4th row also consists of 4 rays with 3 gold beads in each (Fig. 26, a. b). The 5th row is formed by eight rays, each of which has a picot of three large beads and three small beads. In this?/1st row all the beads are gold in color (Fig. 27, a-e). The 6th row has 8 rays with 3 pink beads in each (Fig. 28, a-c).

New Year's snowflakes

Author: Ingrid Moras

To work you need to take:

- gold and blue beads - blue crystals 5 mm - golden beads 2 mm and 4 mm in diameter - golden bugles - fishing line

Snowflake weaving pattern:

Little snowflakes

To make a snowflake (Fig. 11) you will need about two low beads; here you can combine artificial beads with gems. You will also need brass or copper wire.

Description of work

Place eight beads on a wire about 50 cm long, leave a piece of wire about 10 cm long on the left side. Connect both wires together so that a loop is formed from the beads, and twist the wire around the beads by 1-2 mm.

String 6 beads onto the working end of the wire. Pull the wire back through the first of 6 beads and pull it taut. Pass the wire through the next bead of the inner ring and string 6 beads again (Fig. 12).

Continue in this manner until you have eight heifers (Fig. 13). Finally, connect both ends of the wire together, twist them and trim off the excess. This snowflake, like all subsequent ones, can be used as an independent decoration and as an element of pendants and garlands (Fig. 19).

Based on this snowflake, you can make a number of new ones if you partially change the size of the beads (Fig. 14, 15) or increase the number of beads (Fig. 16, 17). You can connect snowflakes into one garland and decorate a window or Christmas tree with it (Fig. 18, 19).
