Hi all!

Today we’ll talk to you about what you can present to your loved ones and unique ones on Valentine’s Day. By far the most common option is valentine, remember I already gave you some ideas, how did you like them? Along with this, it is also the simplest; for those who have the desire and time, I suggest making crafts with your own hands from all kinds of available materials.

After all, there is nothing more beautiful and better than what you did yourself. Therefore, I hope I will be useful to many today. What thoughts and ideas do you have on this topic? What will you give on this day? If you are still on the fence, I advise you to look at my previous post, there you will definitely find what you were looking for).

Therefore, start creating in advance, so that when the holiday comes you can be ready, take a suitable beautiful idea and implement it, I wish you good luck and patience.

Postcards

This craft can be made by anyone, even a child who has just learned to cut and glue paper.
All you need to do is cut out a heart from colored (usually red or pink) paper and stick it on a folded sheet of cardboard. You can make a card with your fingerprints, creating a heart or flowers from them.

Older children and adults can make a three-dimensional heart. To do this, two heart elements are cut out of colored paper, each piece is cut into a spiral. The resulting inner hearts are glued together, and the outer edges are glued to different halves of the card. Now, when the recipient opens a homemade piece of art, the hearts will stretch beautifully. You can make such a craft from different colors of paper, for example, use blue and pink.

Photo frame

A very simple but unique gift. Buy an ordinary frame at any craft store. Paint it the desired color and varnish it. Add glitter, stickers or appliques on top.

The gift can be stylized as much as possible to suit the recipient, with symbolic drawings or phrases that only close people know about. Such gifts have a soul, and a person feels it.

Fairy lights

Delicate garlands will beautifully decorate any room. They are easy to make, so such entertainment can be entrusted to little masters.

The paper is cut into small strips. Depending on the required size of the garland, they can be 10-20 centimeters, and even more, the width is 1-1.5 centimeters. The first strip is folded in the shape of a heart, the next strip is threaded inside the part, fastened in the shape of a heart, the next one is threaded into it, and so on. This idea will help decorate the hallway, staircase, door.

You can fasten the hearts on the side edges with glue or a stapler.

You can make vertical garlands. To do this, the hearts are strung on threads or twine or fastened vertically with glue or a stapler.

Felt cover

If a person is not too sentimental and does not like postcards, this also happens, it is worth giving a more practical thing. For example, a felt case for storing all sorts of trinkets.

You need to cut out two multi-colored circles from felt, one will serve as a backing. Connect them using a glue gun or sewing machine. Use an awl to pierce several holes of the same diameter. Pass a ribbon through them to tighten the bag. Decorate the case with beads and rhinestones.

Heart-wreaths

Nice crafts can be made from cardboard and woolen threads. To do this, a heart blank in the form of a rim is cut out of thick cardboard. The resulting rim is tightly wrapped in red or pink wool. You can make a winding of several layers. The word “Live” made of paper, artificial flowers, and beads are hung on the resulting heart. You can lower a small heart on a thread into the center of the craft.

An original wreath can be made from sweets by simply attaching sweets to a cardboard blank. A child, or any sweet tooth, will definitely be pleased with such an offering.

The kindergarten can be decorated with a wreath like a New Year's craft. To do this, wire or cardboard made in the shape of a heart is wrapped in crumpled newspaper (to add volume), wrapped in tinsel, and delicious candies are attached to threads.

Little monsters

Monsters don't always inspire fear and horror. Sometimes they turn into pure tenderness.

Cover the hollow ball with yarn to make it shaggy. Attach toy eyes and horns made from chenille sticks topped with hearts. You can make crafts with your children; the process is quite easy, even fun.

Topiary

Making a fashionable gift is not at all difficult. For this you will need:

  • flower pot;
  • stones for filling it, it is better to use decorative stones, large beads for creativity;
  • soft, dense wire;
  • decoration elements (artificial flowers, coffee beans, ribbons, bows).

First, we make a heart out of wire, decorate it with a pink ribbon, and attach the decor to the ribbon. We install the finished craft on a “stem”, it can be a piece of wire or a cocktail straw. Place the finished topiary in a pot and cover it with beads.

Souvenirs for February 14th made from paper with diagrams

I will describe an unusual “packaging” for sweets:

  1. Fold a strip of paper (24cm) in half lengthwise to compact it a little.
  2. We mark on the strip: 0.5 cm along the edges (bending places), 3 and 21 cm (the cut from top to bottom is not all the way and from bottom to top is not all the way), 10 and 14 (half centimeter bends of the strip will be glued here).
  3. Bend in half.

  4. We bend it so as to thread the paper through the places where the cuts are. This is how we connect the edges to make a heart with three compartments.

  5. We divide another 3 strips into 5 equal parts and bend them in four places. It turns out to be the letter “S” (only in reverse).

  6. Glue them into the heart compartments.

How do you like this idea? I think it's very cool!

I will definitely use it myself!!!

Photo frames

If you insert a photograph into the center of the resulting topiary, you will get a nice photo frame.

A cute frame can be made from sheets of cardboard. To do this, you can use a heart made of wool and simply glue it onto a sheet of cardboard or a wooden base. Don't forget to leave space to insert a photo.

You can make a photo frame simply from two sheets of cardboard. To do this, cut out a square, a circle, or any other shape in one. The remaining space is filled with decor. They can be multi-colored hearts made of colored paper. The frame is glued to the base, leaving a gap for inserting and replacing the photo.

Chocolate Dynamite

If this is all too cute for some, there is an alternative idea: chocolate dynamite. Take several small bars, preferably in red packaging. Wrap them in colored paper of the appropriate shade and fasten them together. Stick a black chenille stick into the middle - a “wick”. Surround the structure with a second chenille stick and add a card with sharp text.

Volumetric letters

Three-dimensional letters filled with delicate flowers or sweets will be a good recognition for Valentine's Day. From the letters you can add up the initials of a dear person, name, the word “Love”, “I love”.

To make them you need cardboard, glue, and a pencil.

First, a letter template is drawn on cardboard and vertical stripes are glued to it. The resulting letters are filled with artificial flowers and decorated with bows and ribbons.

Felt Valentines (patterns and templates)

The advantage of felt is that you can make an applique out of it, or you can make voluminous or flat “pads”. It is stitched and glued. You can make a lot of different beautiful hearts with it. You can even make the gift practical by inserting a ring and the heart will serve as a keychain.

Personally, I liked Bunny. And if you have templates, your little one can make these (with our help):

  • Cut out all the details.

  • We design the face. Sew on bead eyes. Glue on the parts of the ears and nose. We embroider mustaches.
  • We sew 2 main parts. But not completely, leaving a small hole.
  • Fill the hole with padding polyester.

  • Sew up the hole.

For the “bunny” felt of two colors is used. I also give you a few interesting templates.

If you like cats, then there are more cat templates here.

Floating hearts

For those who want to give an unusual gift, floating hearts can be a good craft idea.

To create such a surprise you will need:

  • thick liquid soap;
  • clean beautiful bottle;
  • hearts made of wood or plastic.

A little soap is poured into the bottle, hearts are placed, and the soap is poured to the neck. It is better to distribute the hearts over the entire height of the bottle; the neck can be decorated with flowers, bows, and ribbons.

"Jar of Reasons"

A beautifully decorated jar filled with notes would be a nice gift. Each note is a reason why a couple loves each other. During quarrels, when memory strives to highlight all that is dark, such a ray of light is indispensable.

You can decorate the container with paper hearts, satin ribbons or twine. The present is unusually aesthetic and warm.

Other gifts

On February 14, you can give the most ordinary gifts, decorating them with paper hearts. This could be your favorite cosmetics, perfumes, useful crafts, gifts for hobbies or work, sweets, flowers, including homemade ones.

A good, unusual gift would be a wall newspaper, a garland or an electronic presentation of your favorite photographs.

Valentine's Day is a great occasion to do something with your own hands, to give a piece of love to a loved one, regardless of age or gender.
