Framed panel
Where to begin? Start by finding a base: this is a frame to which cardboard or thin plywood is attached. This is our working area and future painting! Before starting creation, designers recommend deciding on the location of the future masterpiece: bedroom, hallway, kitchen. Determine where the lighting will come from. And also where approximately the panel will hang or stand.
So, we've decided. Next we prepare the existing elements. If something needs to be washed from dust or glue removed, we do everything. To paint something, we paint it and dry it. If you plan to create a panel of dried flowers, then we do that too.
Common product decor options
Whatever base is chosen, it can be decorated using several methods:
- Using the decoupage technique (transferring the finished design and then fixing it with glue or varnish).
- Painting and drawing using durable acrylic paints or special ones for stained glass.
- Simple wrapping with twine, cord, thread, ribbons, braid.
- Gluing bulk materials (cereals, sand, salt, seeds, shaped pasta, etc.).
- The use of plasticine and clay.
- Use of beads, beads, buttons, sparkles.
Also in the photo of craft vases you can see amazing creations woven from simple newspaper tubes, made in papier-mâché style, etc.
Any base can also be tied with beautiful threads using a hook or knitting needles. A variety of decorative additions will help turn any creation into a unique masterpiece.

Classic origami - snowdrops
School-age children know how to make an airplane or a boat from a piece of paper. The Japanese turned this skill into an art called “origami”. Only paper is used, no glue or scissors. Art has become international. There are classic and modular origami. One of the simplest crafts is snowdrops.
We take a sheet of ordinary white office paper, mark it into squares with a side of 5 cm, and cut it with scissors. We bend the workpiece in half to form a rectangle.
On the long side, we bend both sides of the workpiece so that we get a parallelogram (this is a figure in which the opposite sides are parallel and the angles are not right); this is a petal.
For a snowdrop, three such petals are made: one in the middle and two on the sides. Place on a colored sheet of hard paper. Plasticine is used to make stems; the stems bend down. The corners of the snowdrop bud are also attached to the paper with a plasticine ball.
To create a composition, several snowdrops with different stem heights are used. Spring crafts for school using this technique are easy to do and do not require much time.
